3rd Doctor's Appointment...

Well today I had my third doctor's appointment. Everything was smooth and went pretty quick!I have not gained any weight but the doctor is not worried about it, he said to eat just like I have been. He said everything looks good and the baby's heartbeat sounds nice and strong. My throat started getting scratchy last night so when he checked it and did a culture I have strep throat, so I had to get some antibiotics. The next appointment will be the one that we hopefully find out what Baby Deffenbaugh will be!!! That will take place on December 10th at 3pm!!! This is so exciting we cant wait. I am dying to go shopping!!! This will be a great Christmas! Well here are a few photos of my growing belly...

The House...

Okay some people have been asking about photos of the house and although I am ultra crazy tired and sick most of the time (thanks to the wonderful baby growing inside!) I actually somewhat cleaned my living room and took some photos of it. This is the only room that is somewhat fully furnished and painted. I still have to purchase nesting tables for in between the couch and the oversized chair. I already know which ones I want is just a matter of fitting them into the budget and also a mount for the television so it can hang on the wall! The other rooms will take a bit more time now that David's schedule will change due to the upcoming holidays! Longer hours and less days off is what awaits him. Yay for both of us!

Catching up...

Well I had my second baby appointment! Just a check up this time but I got to hear the baby's heartbeat! That was cool. Its hard to imagine that a tiny little thing is growing inside. God is awesome! I am 12 weeks pregnant and according to the doctor everything is great. I have not gained any weight but she wasn't too worried yet since I have been getting so sick in the mornings. This past weekend I have actually been okay in the mornings which is a plus. I have somewhat more energy in the mornings but I still crash in the evenings and sometimes I take naps and that helps me keep going. If only I could take naps at school! My next appointment is in November 14th and we will fins out what the baby is on our 20th week which by my calculations will be sometime before Christmas! We can't wait and I can't wait to start shopping!

In other news, school for me is going okay. I am managing with first grade but I have lost my love for teaching. I hope I regain the love back next year when I will hopefully transfer to a kindergarten unit. Kindergarten is where my heart truly is. David's job is going pretty well. We are always praying for new sales to come into his path. Overall everything is going well.

The house is slowly coming along. David started and is almost done painting the living room. As soon as he is finished I will post some photos. I just can't bear taking photos while my house is a total mess. I have made slow progress in unpacking boxes. It helps when I have days off that I can work on it. My goal is to have everything unpacked before Thanksgiving... so we shall see if I can accomplish that.

Lastly I wanted to share with all of you my beautiful new niece. She was born on Tuesday and she is so cute. Here is my favorite pic of Isabella and Ramsey Michael (our nephew). I know you can't really see her but this pic is so cute!

We're IN!!!!

Well we are finally in the new house! It has been great. Unpacking has been interesting. Things are everywhere so we are unpacking little by little. Besides moving into the new house we also received some other news! David and I are HAVING A BABY!!! WE are so excited. The estimated arrival for Baby Deffenbaugh is May 1. This is another reason I have not made progress unpacking. I am so tired all the time. When I come home from school all I want to do is shower and go to bed. We did have our first sonogram and we have a pic of the baby which looks more like a tadpole right now and as soon as the scanner is set up I will post the pic. As I unpack different rooms I will also post photos of that. Right now I am not ready to take any photos of this messy house! But hopefully very soon I will! Until then keep coming back to visit!

10 days till closing!!!

Well only 10 days until closing day!! This is so exciting and tiring since we are not done packing yet but we will get there. Here are some more photos of the house. It is almost finished only finishing touches are needed. The spots you see on the walls throughout the photos is tape they placed on the spots they need to go back and fix!

19 Days to Go!!

Can you believe that in 19 days we close on our house? It's amazing how fast time has gone by! It is very exciting.. now all we have to do is finish packing. Here are some more photos of the house!

Oh on the photo that has the master shower the bar soap holder that will be coming out. We don't like it!


By the way regarding my job... well I will not be teaching Kindergarten this year. Our school did not get enough kids and they cut 2 units. I am moving up to first grade. It will be a change and I will miss kindergarten with all my heart. So we shall see how first grade turns out for me this year!

Almost there...

We can't believe the house is coming along so quickly... We close on September 25th! Its a bit surreal that we are actually moving. Next month there will be no more stairs to go up to with bags of groceries!!! YAY!! This past week the counters were installed and our bathroom lighting. Its looking great!
In other news my job at school is in trouble.. we don't have enough kindergartners to keep 2 of our kindergarten units, one being mine. We will know this next week what will happen. The other option the principal gave me was 2nd grade or going into the pool and risk my chance at finding a school near home or one that has a kindergarten unit. I really want to stay in Kindergarten. Its where my heart lies. I am trying to be patient and trust God but I'm finding it so hard. Keep me in your prayers!
