10 days till closing!!!

Well only 10 days until closing day!! This is so exciting and tiring since we are not done packing yet but we will get there. Here are some more photos of the house. It is almost finished only finishing touches are needed. The spots you see on the walls throughout the photos is tape they placed on the spots they need to go back and fix!

19 Days to Go!!

Can you believe that in 19 days we close on our house? It's amazing how fast time has gone by! It is very exciting.. now all we have to do is finish packing. Here are some more photos of the house!

Oh on the photo that has the master shower the bar soap holder that will be coming out. We don't like it!


By the way regarding my job... well I will not be teaching Kindergarten this year. Our school did not get enough kids and they cut 2 units. I am moving up to first grade. It will be a change and I will miss kindergarten with all my heart. So we shall see how first grade turns out for me this year!

Almost there...

We can't believe the house is coming along so quickly... We close on September 25th! Its a bit surreal that we are actually moving. Next month there will be no more stairs to go up to with bags of groceries!!! YAY!! This past week the counters were installed and our bathroom lighting. Its looking great!
In other news my job at school is in trouble.. we don't have enough kindergartners to keep 2 of our kindergarten units, one being mine. We will know this next week what will happen. The other option the principal gave me was 2nd grade or going into the pool and risk my chance at finding a school near home or one that has a kindergarten unit. I really want to stay in Kindergarten. Its where my heart lies. I am trying to be patient and trust God but I'm finding it so hard. Keep me in your prayers!

Man's Best Friend

We have a new addition to the family! David has a little girl. (Nope no baby yet) We got a yellow lab. She is so cute. Her name is Sadie and she was born in May. She is getting big. David picked her up yesterday, took her to the groomers and then off to mom's house it was. She is staying at mom's house until the house is finished. She is getting used to being inside rather than outside. She is also trying to get used to walking on a leash and staying on a crate most of the day. My other dog Harley is not liking the fact someone is in his territory but I am sure eventually he will get used to her. David is completely in puppy love. It's Coming Along!

I can't believe how fast the house is coming along! It's very exciting driving by each week and seeing something new happening. I can't wait to get in there! Work has started for me (Yay...) I am excited and a bit stressed. The kids start next week but we don't have enough kids registered. I need a miracle. Right now I have 6 kids in my class. I need at least 10 or more! In total the school has enough kids for 3 teachers and there are 7 of us! So please pray that this week there is a torrential of parents pouring into the office to register their kids! I have been spending so much time in my classroom and it finally is starting to look like I wanted it last year! I dont want to have to take it all down and change it... So help me PRAY that I will be there for the whole year! David is doing well in his job, which is good. He seems to like it alot and he doesn't have to drive very far so he is saving on gas. Well I must go to bed for it is past my schooltime bedtime! Until next time...

Well the house is coming along. Hopefully it will stop raining a bit so they can get finished on time! In other news David got the Senior Sales Rep position with Verizon much closer to our house! YAY! I am very happy for him and this will mean he won't be driving an hour to work and an hour back. He begins this job the beginning of August. I will begin school at the beginning of August as well so I have been trying to get all my stuff together for my classroom while packing to move at the end of August to the new house. Its pretty interesting around our house with all the boxes starting to pile up!
