Jonathan's First Haircut
Well 2 Sunday's ago we finally gave in and took JJ for his first haircut... I didn't really want to because he looked so stinking cute with the curls like this wild child.. it was great but whenever we went places some people would ask if he was a girl...even though he wears blue most of the time with things like "Mommy's little boy" written on his shirts anyways we took him in and he had his first haircut. What a traumatic experience for him. He started well, sat down on the car (chair), watched the little video they put on but as soon as she put the cape on he started crying and didn't stop until it was all over. This was a totally new experience for David and me since when Matthew got his first haircut there was not a tear in sight! Its amazing how different they are! Now Jonathan looks like a little boy. Very sad for mommy since of course I want to keep him as a baby as long as I can!
But he is quickly growing and becoming more adventurous/mischievous yes, he is our little hurricane. He can turn our living room upside down in a matter of seconds. He doesn't stop! His new thing is leaping from the couch. He definitely is a goofball like his brother and like any siblings they love to fight with each other!
Well here are some photos from Jonathan's first haircut!

Summertime...
The summer is in full swing, I am so grateful that the community pool is finally finished because we (the boys and I) have definitely been taking advantage of it. Matthew LOVES the pool and even JJ enjoys it. I love it because afterwards the boys take the most amazing naps! As long as I keep them busy and out in the sun this mommy is happy! This summer is not only about fun but I have also been doing some letter practice with Matthew. We are focusing on the letters in his name. He knows most of them but still gets confused. He seems to enjoy it and goes around looking for the letter we have learned in the stories we read. This gives me great practice for when we start homeschooling! I am super excited for that venture to begin! But in the meantime believe it or not I have already started getting some little things ready for school... I mean really little... this summer truly is about not thinking about school and actually having fun with the kids and some family time here and there when David is off. Well I hope everyone does something fun for the 4th of July!

Boys Birthdays!
Here are some pics of both the boys birthdays...its really hard to imagine that Matthew has turned 3 years old. He has become quite the character! And my little peanut (I know David says he is too big to be called peanut (not age wise but actual size!!) but that's what he will be to his mommy!) JJ has turned 1 years old.. it seems like only yesterday we were at the hospital having him. Its amazing how time really flies. It really is so important to cherish every single moment with them even the bad ones :)

It's been a while...
Wow... I didn't realize how long it had been since I had blogged... well let's see if I can catch you up a bit...
Matthew is doing well...he is trying to get the point of sharing with others, and listening and obeying. He got in trouble a few weeks ago at church for not sharing the toys. He is definitely keeps us busy and he absolutely never stops! He has TONS of energy!! I can't wait until he can start a sport, I think he would enjoy it and it would burn some of that energy. He still loves to read about dinosaurs and Thomas and of course he is still LOVES Cars and anything McQueen and Mater (the characters in the movie) We have tried to put on less TV and only watch it on the weekends or if I am home by myself he watches if for 30 minutes while I put JJ to bed. He absolutely is gaga over the iPad but he only gets that if he has good behavior at Lala's house or here at home. So it is an incentive for him. He has learning games on it and some fun games as well. He absolutely loves to talk...he is a chatter box. He enjoys telling JJ not to do stuff especially while we are in the car. Right now as I type he is in bed but has gotten out of bed just to get out and comes up with very silly excuses.
Jonathan is getting SO big, he is such a happy little boy. But like I said he is huge. Clothes that use to fit Matthew at 8 months don't fit JJ. He is wearing 9 month old clothing and has since he turned 7 months old... it is truly amazing! He finally got one of his bottom teeth. I have tried to snap a picture but have had no luck! He hasn't mastered the art of crawling although he is great at rocking back and forth and then leaping... and he rolls on the carpet quite well! He is super quick on the walker though, so perhaps he will go straight to walking.
David is doing well at work and he has enrolled to go back to school! He starts an online course this semester ( I can't remember now what it is that he is going back to school for... some technology thing) I know that is horrible I should know.... I really can't remember.. either way I am very proud of him for taking this step.
Me, I turned a year older this month... can't believe it and I am still teaching (found out today that I have to move classrooms so I will be packing at the end of the year to go to a slightly smaller class...yuck!) There are more days when I wish I was home with the boys. My prayer is to find something that I can do from home especially when Matthew starts school. I really want to homeschool both of the boys and I have already started my research! I am really excited about this possible journey!
I will try to post some photos this weekend... it has been a hectic couple of weeks but hopefully I can actually be home this weekend and do something!
