Matthew
So yesterday's post was all about Jonathan and today it is all about Matthew. Matthew who I can't believe is 3 years old. Time sure does go by quickly. I read somewhere yesterday that there are only 900 weeks of childhood... not sure if that is a true statement but when you look at it that way it doesn't seem like much time at all. It really is so important to cherish every single moment you have with your children.
Since he is under the weather at the moment I thought it would be a great time to do a little interview with him. I am hoping to keep the interview up as he grows so I can see how his answers change... Here are some of the questions I asked him and his true responses. I barely had to prompt him which was surprising.
Matthew 3 Year Old Interview
1. What is your favorite color? Blue, red and black
2. What is your favorite toy? Cars
3. What is your favorite movie? Thomas the Train
4. What is your favorite thing to eat? Rice and Chicken with potatoes and carrots
5. What is your favorite snack? goldfish
6. What is your favorite game? Cars
7. What is your favorite sport? kicking (I am pretty sure he meant soccer since I signed up and he will be starting to play later this month!)
8. What is your favorite animal? Giraffe
9. Where is your favorite place to go? to the zoo
10. What is your favorite thing to do with Daddy? Play cars with him
11. What is your favorite thing to do with Mommy? Read books
12. Where does daddy work? Far Away
13. Where does mommy work? school
14. What is your favorite thing about Jonathan? He plays with me...I love JJ
15. What do you pray about? Mimi and Papa and Tio
16. Where does Jesus live? in God's house
While I was asking him all these questions he was playing with his play-doh and as we are finishing up he said these things I thought I would add:
I like to play ball with Lala
I like to watch Dino Dan with Papa because he has the show on his iPad
I like to play with Mimi
And there you have it... That's Matthew... he is a goofy and at times strong willed. He loves to play and learn. He has been learning to write his name at Lala's house which I tell him its just like going to school (it really is, she has turned her home into a classroom) which is great because he is learning alot and he will be super ready when we do homeschool!
Here is a picture of my big boy. He was playing outside last weekend with David and they found a little frog whom Matthew kept calling his best friend. I despise frogs but being the great mommy photographer that I am, I ran to get the camera and took one of my favorite shots of him!
